The Nate Green Experience

"Holy Shit, I'm Late" Breakfast

Oats, baby. Any way you like 'em. Oats, baby. Any way you like 'em.

True to the hectic post-Christmas and New Years' schedule, I've found myself in a perpetual state of "I've got to get things done quickly."

And while punctuality is a great quality, I've been increasingly rushed over the past week. (Which would explain why my "New Year" blog will be posted next Monday.)

Until then, here's a quick breakfast option for all of you guys with hectic schedules.

Great video Nate!! I always make oatmeal with whey protein and some berries in the morning as my pre-workout meal. In the past I used to cook oats stove top and would just add a scoop of whey protein while it cooks.

I was always curious though about any damage I may be doing to my whey when cooking. Your tip solves my problem :-)!! Thanks.

P.S. Anyhow, what is your opinion about cooking/heating whey protein?

I like to use chocolate whey, heaping spoonful of peanut butter, and mix in some milk right before eating.

Well done Nate. Gotta love oatmeal. It's a staple in my diet for sure.

Sans the protein powder...I like to throw in some chopped walnuts (extra protein, healthy fats) and a little cinnamon (loaded w/antioxidants).
