The Nate Green Experience

Hey guys, Nate here. I'm proud to announce that I'm now the Program Director of Scrawny To Brawny. From now on all of my blogs and articles will be posted on the brand-new Scrawny To Brawny Blog. So if you enjoyed what you read here, please go check it out. (It's awesome, if I say so myself.) I'm keeping the NGE website alive for resource reasons, but will no longer be actively updating it. The best way to get in touch with me is through leaving a comment on the Scrawny To Brawny blog or by posting on the S2B Facebook page. See you guys over at the new blog!

Stake it; Take it; Make it

God, I love this picture. God, I love this picture.

I've done more interviews in the last month than I've done in the past couple of years combined. (Thank God for my unlimited phone plan – I'd probably drop more than $300 a month and cry into my nightly dinner of Ramen noodles and Spam otherwise. You know, in between rounds of drinking straight rye whiskey and trying to make it out of my trailer home as the only white rapper in Montana.)

Any way, while most of the interviews were me asking the questions and grilling my subjects, a few were about my upcoming release of Built for Show which officially launches on Thursday.

Regardless of who was asking the questions, all of the interviews somehow managed to focus –or at least touch on— the importance of taking action and not getting bogged down in details.

A head Biotest researcher would never develop quality, revolutionary supplements if he succumbed to apathy and sequestered his knowledge of compounds and hormones by shouting at the penis-enlarging ads on his late-night TV programs.

Hot strippers from every corner of the world would never camp outside Joe Defranco's front door if he hadn't started his own facility to prepare guys for the NFL combine.

If he hadn’t made a significant life-transformation, former distance-runner Vince Delmonte

would still be impersonating Forrest Gump and running 100 miles per week instead of teaching skinny guys how to build muscle.

Craig Weller would be locked up in a mental institution with a jar of peanut butter and a stick if he didn't take action and start Barefoot Fitness.

And me?

Well, let's just say you wouldn't be reading this if I did what I originally wanted to do: two chicks at the same time.

This whole post is tongue and cheek for a reason. But it all comes down to one thing: find something you want to do. Then do it.

Don't talk about it. Don't give excuses. Just fucking do it.

Stake it; take it; make it.

Oh, and help me buy food by investing in Built for Show. In exchange, I'll show you to how to build a great body, an amazing lifestyle, and help you on your quest to do two chicks at the same time.

If it can't be me, it might as well be you, right?

Great post Nate. Insightful and funny.

By the way, everyone reading this: the book is pretty damn good. I dunno about that whole "two chicks at the same time" thing, but maybe that will come in time.

    Thanks, Nate!

    Nate,

The Book's great, I love reading your posts, and what you've done with your career in such a short amount of time deserves the utmost respect. Looking back, I wish I had your drive and vision when I was busy eating McDick's and smashing tvs. So many things would be easier for me right now.

I guess the past is in the past, and looking ahead it's never too late to start a similar journey to yours.

I recently took out a line of credit and am swinging for the fences.

    Keep it up,

    Jon

Love the article Nate. It's so simple, yet so many people are too lazy to take action.

"stake it; take it; make it" Great motto.

Will be buying your book later this week.
