The Nate Green Experience

Hey guys, Nate here. I'm proud to announce that I'm now the Program Director of Scrawny To Brawny. From now on all of my blogs and articles will be posted on the brand-new Scrawny To Brawny Blog. So if you enjoyed what you read here, please go check it out. (It's awesome, if I say so myself.) I'm keeping the NGE website alive for resource reasons, but will no longer be actively updating it. The best way to get in touch with me is through leaving a comment on the Scrawny To Brawny blog or by posting on the S2B Facebook page. See you guys over at the new blog!

Big Announcement and Cool Links

Jason is putting the final touches on my brand-new blog and it should be up by next Tuesday (or sooner).

The new layout looks incredible and I think everyone will really dig it.

So as I scramble to finish up some guest blog posts and articles, I'd like to officially cop-out of a real blog post and instead hook you guys up with some cool links.

Cheat Your Way Thin!

Whoever told you that you needed to eat chicken and broccoli to lose fat is a freakin' liar. According to former Body for Life Grand Champion and current world-class coach Joel Marion, you can eat cheeseburgers, pastries, and even ice cream while losing fat and gaining muscle. I'm pretty damn interested. But mostly just pretty.

Check out his Cheat Your Way Thin system.

You don't know how to do a pull-up

That's right. I called you out. Now what are you going to do about it?

(If I were you, I'd check out this article to see if my accusation has any merit!)

Stewie on steroids? Yep.

    Nate,

thanks for all the great articles. Along with you blog I also check t-nation regularly and love that site as well as your material on there. I would love to see a blog about your thoughts on steroids? Good, bad, worth it. Thats something that would really interest me and if there are any T readers on your blog I bet they would like it too haha. Well thanks for all the great reads.

Things I'd like to see... (1) A BFS programs FAQ. It would really help me in planning my workouts to see where others have questions or problems, and what you recommended to fix them. (2) Some thoughts about what to do post-BFS -- that is, if you're not too busy with BFS 2.0 or WBFS. It's become clear to me as I finish up the winter program here that you've got to think about fitness in long-term. (3) Some self-assessment tools. I get a little overwhelmed with all the conflicting advice about good form and mobility and progress. It'd be nice to have one reference point for checking up on myself.

@ Lost Fat And Build Muscle Mass (Nice name, by the way...)

You should check out Joel's book "The Cheat to Lose Diet" and take a look at how the hormone leptin works in the body. No one's suggesting horrible food all the time. Just strategic cheating for increased benefits and more compliance.
