I concur with the above observation on your title. Eliminate the "enough to hook up". I suppose with it you gain a certain amount of cachet with a younger demographic, but I see it turning most other demographics away.

I think what the comment about "burying your lead" was more about the Built for Show title, not the sub-heading. Burying your lead implies that you have an ambiguous title that doesn't clearly communicate the content or idea you're trying to convey.
In fact, the "look good enough to hook up" comment is possibly the best example of a NON-buried lead.
The book should be called "Built for Having Lots and Lots of Awesome Sex." Maybe even "How to Get Her to Want to Fuck You Without Even Talking to Her."
I'm pretty sure the book is directed toward the young single guy demographic. So, sure, the title might deter Mom and Grandpa, but do either of them really have anything to benefit from a book about making your ass look more attractive to that 19-year-old sorority girl that jogs in a sports bra and rolled down sweat pants every morning?
I doubt it.

Good luck on this project. My wife probably wouldn't understand if I were to start reading it, but I wish I'd had something like this eight years ago. I'll be sure to tell my bachelor friends about it. -

A little selective editing there, but I think it sort of makes my point. I wouldn't be so quick to exclude any demograpic, much less ones that are proven to purchase diet and exercise books. Even those books that are pitched to a younger crowd that places an emphasis on "looking good". -
