"You're on their level, not below it".

    Precisely.

This is exactly what I was talking about in my (admittedly) overlong posts under "4 Steps to Becoming a Networking Genius" - from which, I surmise, this tip was taken).

You pulled this one on Cosgrove, yes? I liked it when I read a piece he did in which he mentioned it (if I am recalling correctly).

It's high-minded, generous and unique - all things that I'm a big fan of.

On a completely unrelated (and potentially irrelevant) note, I'm presently re-watching (as in I paused the DVD to type this) "The Corporation: the Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power", specifically the interviews in the Special Features - of which there are a few hours worth. I recommend it - the doc is an insightful analysis of the history and structure of the dominant institution of our age and there are some fascinating interviews with respect to marketing, PR, cool-hunting etc.

It made me smarter (then again, it could be the Genestra brand Omega 3 - known for both their purity and potency - get some from your local naturopath today!).

Another doc worth considering is "Surplus: Terrorized into Being Consumers"
